My name is Janice Taylor and I operate Blue Sky Driving School in Guiseley. I offer professional driving tuition and have earned a reputation for my personal approach and my very high first-time pass rate.

I cater for learner drivers of all ages and levels of experience, and welcome anybody to join my driving school. I love to see people passing their driving test and it gives me a huge amount of satisfaction when I see them smile.
Female Driving Instructor
As a patient female driving instructor, I am a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), registered with the UK Government and I have helped pupils throughout Guiseley and the surrounding area to succeed in passing their basic driving tests.
I started as a driving instructor in 2001 and over the years have provided personalised driving tuition for literally hundreds of learner drivers and on to successfully passing their driving tests.
In addition to preparing beginner driving school pupils for their theory and practical tests, I am also approved driving instructor for those who would like to improve their driving skills or gain higher qualifications. Getting Started with Driving Lessons
For some people, starting driving lessons can be a bit of a worry and If you're a first-time learner, it's completely understandable to feel a little nervous when sitting next to a driving instructor for the first time.
But don’t worry. I will treat you as an individual, encouraging you to learn at your own pace. You will gradually be introduced to new driving scenarios, allowing you to build your confidence in each area of driving until you are ready to tackle the practical test with confidence!
As a pupil from Guiseley, Yeadon, Otley or Ilkley. You’ll learn to drive on roads that you know as well as those that you don’t. Including roads used by your local driving test centre.
Flexible Driving Tuition
I always tailor the program of driving lessons for each individual learner and this can also include collecting you from your home or place of work.
I have a modern, clean and reliable air-conditioned car, with dual controls for your safety. And under normal circumstances you will always have that same vehicle throughout your driving lessons and also for your driving test.
On the day of your driving test, we will drive to the Test Centre and I will wait for you to complete it. Taking your test in a familiar vehicle will give you confidence and increase your chance of success.
Professional Driving Lessons
Driving is not just about passing the test with the least amount of lessons or expenditure, it is also about acquiring life skills and becoming a safe, confident and considerate driver.
Bad habits and attitudes are easy to learn and hard to break. Research carried out by the DSA shows that on average, people who pass their driving test have had at least 42 hours of professional driving lessons with an additional 22 hours of private tuition.
These are just guidelines and some people may need additional driving tuition. The most important factor is that they become safe and responsible drivers for life.
For this reason, it is said that all learner drivers should undertake driving lessons with a properly trained driving instructor.

I started with Jan in September2017, I did the 10 hour block booking. she always worked with me to secure a lesson and plan in-advance as this could be difficult sometime due to childcare. I did 1hr 30 mins lessons as could only have one a week but I felt each lesson at the beginning I learnt something new and took the later weeks to improve on these. She was always patient with me and very friendly. I passed my test 11th May having under 30 hours!! Excellent driving instructor who will invest her time into you.
